Israeli Bus Accident Kills 7

I was deeply saddened this morning to receive a "tweet" from my HaAretz Israeli Newpaper app that there was a horrible bus crash undergoing rescue in Israel... a Truck, Car, and Bus crashed on route 31 near Lehavim junction, with dozens trapped and hurt, and 7 killed.  We pray for these Israelis, and lament the tragedy all the more for their having only wanted to pray in Jerusalem and return home safely.  May their families be blessed and their souls find rest.

At least 7 killed, dozens hurt in Negev bus-tractor collision

JERUSALEM (JTA) — At least seven people were killed and dozens injured in a collision involving a bus, a truck carrying a tractor and a private car in the Negev.
The accident on Tuesday afternoon was declared a mass casualty event, mobilizing all medical teams in the area and more than a dozen firefighting teams.
The bus was filled with passengers, with some of the injured trapped in the vehicle, according to reports. The passengers were reported to be elderly Israeli Muslims, mostly women, who were returning from praying at the Al-Aksa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
Helicopters also were sent to the site to evacuate injured bus passengers.
